Don’t Worry Too Much, God Loves You

It was the poet Robert Frost who said, “The reason why worry kills more people is that more people worry than work.”
He’s right. We spend so much time worrying about just about everything. We worry about our love relationship breaking up instead of facing the issues and working them out. We worry about making matters worse if we talk about them and end up making them worse because we don’t talk about them.
We worry about our health. Doctors will tell you that they waste a lot of time “treating” people who think they are sick but are not.
Intelligent students worry about exams while parents of lazy students worry that their children don’t worry.
If you look around, you are sure to find all kinds of worry. It’s perhaps the most common feeling that humans have. Hardly a day passes that we do not worry about something or someone.
The poor worry because they have nothing. The rich worry that they will lose what they have.
The ordinary woman worries about getting a husband, while the beautiful woman worries about getting the right man.
It is almost as if we need t worry about something if we are to live life properly. I mean, can you remember even one day when you did not worry about anything?
Worry is our constant companion. It is often with us the moment we awake and as we fall into sleep. In fact, we often experience worry in our sleep when we have worrisome dreams. It’s as if not worrying about something isn’t normal. As if not worrying is somehow dangerous. After all, there has to be something out there to worry about!
We worry a lot because we cannot foretell the future. We don’t know if and when a friend will turn his back on us, so we worry about it. But even if we knew, we would still worry about it. It is as if we simply cannot escape worrying.
If that is the case, we should worry about worrying needlessly. If we must worry, let’s worry about things, circumstances, and people that truly deserve the energy we expend when we worry.
Let’s forget about pleasing everybody. Let us worry instead about losing those we love most and who are deserving of our love.
Forget about having a trouble-free life. That doesn’t exist even in fairy tales. Worry instead about facing life’s problems with courage.
Forget worrying about whether or not you will find love. Instead, get out there and love.
Love will find you.
Don’t worry too much about tomorrow. Instead, believe in your God-given talents. Besides, you have gotten this far in life; no reason why you can’t go on being as successful and happy as you have been.
Don’t worry about the unknown that lies ahead. Instead, trust in God who sees clearly what is in the future. Believe that He loves you and will guide you.
